Executive Chef, Rob Nathanson

Newly appointed Executive Chef Rob Nathanson brings with him nearly 20 years of experience as the driving force behind high volume fine dining establishments. Since arriving from Kentucky to the Charleston area in 2012, Rob has combined elements of Lowcountry cuisine with his knowledge of Northern Italian and Classic American techniques to create simple and enticing dishes with universal appeal. With the support of his wife and two daughters, Chef Rob maintains a high energy, hands-on approach in the kitchen. Rob has been on staff at Water’s Edge since 2015 and is excited to take the helm and put a fresh spin on the offerings at this landmark Shem Creek establishment.
