Homemade Blueberry Cobbler

Ingredients for Homemade Blueberry Cobbler
2 cups Sugar
2 cups Self Rising Flour
2 cups Buttermilk
¼ lb Butter (1 stick)
1 tbsp Ground Cinnamon
1 tbsp Vanilla Flavoring
6 cups Fresh Blueberries
½ cup Orange Juice
1/3 cup Brown Sugar
Method for Homemade Blueberry Cobbler
• In a 9”x 13” Pan place blueberries.
• Pour orange juice over blueberries.
• Sprinkle brown sugar across the blueberries.
• In a mixing bowl combine the sugar, self rising flour, buttermilk and melted butter.
• Whisk ingredients until mixed well.
• Add the vanilla and ground cinnamon. Stir again.
• Pour the batter mixture over the pan with the blueberries, covering all the fruit.
• Place in a preheated oven at 300° and bake for 60 minutes. Check the cobbler with a toothpick or knife. If batter is not fully cooked return to oven and continue cooking. Check cobbler at 10 minute intervals.
