Apolline, the contemporary Creole restaurant and bar located on Magazine Street in Uptown New Orleans, opened its doors November 2011. Apolline, a popular name for daughters in French-Creole culture meaning “gift from Apollo” comes from the ladies featured in John Preble paintings adorning the walls of the converted double shotgun house. Led by an experienced team of fine dining veterans, both the space and the cuisine are a celebration of New Orleans culture.

They decided to start smoking meats in a small pop-up inside of the Uptown dive bar, Grits, and then quickly transitioned to a new location inside Chickie Wah-Wah.
