For three years Chef Joshua D. Moore has led the culinary staff of Volare with great style and great dishes. Cooking has been his passion from the age of seven when his family noticed he preferred cooking and cuisine shows to cartoons. He learned his first skills at his grandmother’s side in her large, warm and inviting kitchen. Following his passion early on, Josh began his career as the assistant to the pastry chef at Vincenzo’s at the age of fourteen. His impressive résumé includes a local country club and the kitchen of Porcini’s.

Both the staff and the guests are delighted that Chef Josh has become a part of the Volare family. His passion for creating exquisite Italian cuisine is reflected daily in the food he prepares. Both artistically presented and a delight to the palate, Josh’s culinary skills landed him an invitation to cook at the famous Beard’s House in New York, where he participated in a weekend of creating memorable cuisine for seventy-four, highly discriminating guests.

During the spring and summer month’s, Josh and his beautiful wife, Christina, enjoy growing organic produce on their 10 - acre farm. He shares his green thumb with the guests of Volare as well, by incorporating these homegrown fruits and vegetables in many of his daily specials.
