My father was a McDonald’s owner/operator in Cleveland, Ohio where I worked for him for 17 years. I was a 2nd generation owner/operator for 26 years. After retiring from working in McDonald’s for 43 years, I became restless not going to work every day. After sharing with my wife my desire to go back to work she happened to take me to Another Broken Egg Cafe in Destin, Florida, and I fell in love with the brand. I especially loved the shrimp and grits. I knew Another Broken Egg would be a great fit for me.
The attributes of ABE: Its southern inspired menu, meals freshly prepared, adult beverages with breakfast and lunch, warm and friendly hospitality. ABEC is sure to be a big hit in the Hilton Head, SC and Savannah/Pooler, GA area. I love the cook from scratch using fresh ingredients, and how it makes you feel like you’re eating at grandma’s house. The menu has a distinctive southern flair.I have, in the past, volunteered with various non-profit organizations, and I look forward to participating in similar organizations in the future.
We got an opportunity to meet Homer and Linda Biggers in their Pensacola ABEC. We became fast friends. After sharing my desires with them to become an ABEC owner, they introduced me to Jason Knolls of Another Broken Egg Corporate. It was an instant meeting of the minds. I now have the opportunity to share my 43 years of Quick Service Restaurant knowledge and experience while preparing an upscale menu that most customers would absolutely love. Sheryll and I look forward to our new venture with Another Broken Egg Cafe. We will be Happy People Sharing Happiness!
