Crabs and Linguine

Serves 4-6
Ingredients for Crabs and Linguine
4 Large Crabs - Cleaned
1 C Olive Oil
3 Tbsp Chopped Garlic
3 Tbsp Crab Seasoning
2 Tbsp Parsley
8 C Fresh Tomato Sauce
(4 cans tomato puree may be substituted)
2 Tsp Salt
1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
1/2 Tsp Crushed Red Pepper
8 Basil Leaves
1/2 Pound Fresh Crab Meat (optional)
1-2 Pounds Cooked Pasta - Al Dente
Method for Crabs and Linguine
• Let olive oil heat in the bottom of a large pot.
• Add chopped garlic, crab seasoning and parsley. Cook for 2 minutes.
• Add crabs, sauté until cooked. Approximately 5 minutes.
• Add fresh tomato sauce, salt, pepper, basil leaves and sprinkle crab seasoning.
• Cook on medium heat for approximately 1 hour.
• Taste for seasoning. May need to add more crab seasoning or red pepper to enhance flavor. Cook for 1 more hour.
• Serve over cooked pasta, and top with fresh crab meat or zesty crab from cooked sauce. Enjoy!
