Yields: 1 cake, 8-12 servings

Ingredients: CAKE

8 oz semi-sweet chocolate
8 oz butter
4 oz almond flour
6 whole eggs

Method

  • In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and butter together.
  • In the bowl of an electric mixer, whip the whole eggs until tripled in size.
  • Add the almond flour to the chocolate mix. In three stages, fold the whipped eggs to the chocolate. Once incorported, place into 9” spring form pan and bake 20 minutes at 350°. Allow to cool.
  • Melt the 4 oz. butter with the 6 oz. chocolate and pour over cake to coat. Let the chocolate set and serve.
